We are currently adding to our Commercial Installation Team. We are seeking Commercial Mechanics in the Plumbing and HVAC Piping trades.
Job Description
Successful Mechanics must be able to work independently and have knowledge and experience in reading blueprints and coordination drawings, must be able to plan their work efficiently and must be able to work in a team environment. The successful candidate should have at least 3 years of commercial field experience. Journeyman’s Card and/or Plumbing License preferred.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Install, assemble, and maintain plumbing and piping systems (water, gas, steam, and waste lines)
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Cut, thread, bend, and fit pipe using hand and power tools
- Install fixtures such as sinks, toilets, water heaters, and valves
- Test systems for leaks and proper function
- Troubleshoot and repair system issues
- Ensure work complies with local, state, and federal codes
- Follow all safety policies and procedures
- Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean work area
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, coworkers, and customers
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license
- Strong knowledge of plumbing and pipefitting systems
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Good mechanical and problem-solving skills

- Perform overhead work with arms above shoulder level
- Maintain awkward working positions, including kneeling, crouching, twisting, and bending
- Climb ladders while carrying tools and materials
- Work in confined spaces requiring crawling, stooping, and restricted mobility
- Stand and/or walk for up to 8–10 hours per shift
- Kneel and squat intermittently throughout the workday
- Perform repetitive motions for extended periods of time
- Work with vibrating power tools and equipment
- Work in varying environmental conditions, including temperature extremes such as hot mechanical rooms
- Work in areas with reduced lighting, including crawl spaces and mechanical areas
- Work in environments with elevated noise levels requiring hearing protection
