Strictly Mechanical is hiring Service Technicians to join our growing team in the Atlanta Metro area. If you’re a skilled tech who enjoys troubleshooting complex systems, working independently, and delivering top-tier service – this is a great opportunity with a stable, well-supported company.
What You’ll Do (Responsibilities)
As a Service Technician, you will install, diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC systems while providing excellent customer service. Responsibilities include:
- Diagnose and repair issues on commercial HVAC equipment (RTUs, split systems, refrigeration, etc.)
- Perform preventative maintenance and system calibrations to manufacturer specifications
- Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and blueprints
- Communicate findings, recommendations, and solutions clearly with customers and internal teams
- Travel to job sites across the Atlanta Metro area and manage service calls with dispatch
- Document work performed, parts used, and service details via mobile device
- Maintain service vehicle, inventory, tools, and safety equipment
- Participate in ongoing technical training and development
- Be available for on-call rotation (nights/weekends for emergency service)
What We’re Looking For (Qualifications)
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- HVAC vocational/technical training or completed apprenticeship
- 5+ years of commercial HVAC service experience
- EPA Certification (Type II or Universal)
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Ability to read schematics and technical documents
Preferred:
- NATE Certification
