Talent Acquisition Specialist
Work Environment: Hybrid – Duncan, SC (regular in-office presence required)
Fablogix (a Kelso Industries company) is entering a significant period of growth and is expanding the professional talent required to support its prefabrication manufacturing operations and business objectives. The Talent Acquisition Specialist is a professional, exempt-level role primarily responsible for full-cycle recruiting for professional, technical, operational leadership, and business support positions. This recruiter partners directly with FabLogix leaders and hiring managers to translate workforce plans into targeted recruiting strategies, attract and assess specialized talent, and deliver a consistent candidate and hiring manager experience. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, consultative, and comfortable recruiting across a fast-growing manufacturing organization with evolving workforce demands.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle recruiting for FabLogix professional-level positions, including intake, sourcing, screening, interview coordination, candidate assessment, offer development, pre-employment activities, and handoff to onboarding.
- Recruit professional, technical, operational leadership, and business support talent across engineering, project delivery, estimating, commercial, finance, human resources, safety, quality, administration, and facility leadership functions.
- Partner with FabLogix leaders and hiring managers to understand growth plans, organizational priorities, position requirements, compensation considerations, and hiring timelines.
- Develop and execute recruiting strategies for specialized, leadership, and hard-to-fill professional roles while supporting select high-priority operational searches as business needs require.
- Source active and passive candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, professional associations, industry networks, referrals, direct outreach, colleges and universities, and targeted community partnerships.
- Lead structured candidate screens and assessments, evaluate technical and leadership qualifications, provide clear recommendations, and facilitate consistent and timely selection decisions.
- Maintain accurate and timely candidate and requisition activity in the applicant tracking system and use recruiting data to communicate progress, identify bottlenecks, and adjust strategies as FabLogix grows.
- Build and maintain pipelines for recurring and emerging professional needs, including engineering, project management, estimating, commercial leadership, finance, human resources, safety, quality, and operational management.
- Represent FabLogix in the employment market and communicate its growth story, career opportunities, and culture while delivering a responsive, professional candidate and hiring manager experience.
- Collaborate with the centralized Kelso Industries Talent Acquisition team to apply consistent tools and practices while tailoring recruiting strategies to FabLogix priorities.
- Ensure recruiting and selection practices comply with applicable federal, state, and local employment laws, company policies, and recordkeeping requirements.
Qualifications
Minimum Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
- 3+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience managing multiple professional-level requisitions in manufacturing, construction, engineering, operations, or corporate functions.
- Demonstrated ability to independently lead recruiting intake discussions, translate organizational needs into recruiting plans, assess professional and leadership candidates, and advise hiring managers throughout the selection process.
- Proven ability to source active and passive professional candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, resume databases, professional associations, industry networks, referrals, and direct outreach.
- Experience using an applicant tracking system to manage requisitions, candidate activity, communications, and reporting.
- Strong written and verbal communication, business judgment, organization, and relationship-building skills, including the ability to influence and advise leaders.
- Ability to prioritize competing hiring needs, manage a diverse professional requisition portfolio, and respond effectively to changing business demands with limited day-to-day supervision.
- Working knowledge of professional recruiting practices, talent markets, compensation considerations, and applicable employment laws.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and virtual communication tools.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience recruiting professional talent for prefabrication, manufacturing, modular construction, mission-critical construction, or MEP-related operations.
- Familiarity with engineering, project management, estimating, commercial, finance, human resources, safety, quality, and operational leadership roles.
- Experience supporting a rapidly growing organization, multiple locations, or expanding business units within a centralized or shared-services recruiting model.
- Experience recruiting manager, director, and other senior-level professional positions.
- Experience with Workday Recruiting or a comparable enterprise applicant tracking system.
- Professional certification in human resources or talent acquisition.
